Edit an Organization

Update an existing organization without creating a new one.

Goal

Keep organization details current after ownership, team, or permissions changes.

Who should use this

  • Organization owners
  • Team leads managing shared setups across multiple products

You need

  • Permission to edit organization settings
  • Access to the target organization

Steps

  1. Go to the organization you want to update
  2. Go to Organization Settings
  3. Update name or editable details
  4. Save

Result

  • The organization shows the updated details
  • Existing projects and members remain linked to the same organization

Common issues

  • You cannot save changes: confirm you still have edit permission
  • Updated fields do not save: check required fields and try again
