Update an existing organization without creating a new one.

Keep organization details current after ownership, team, or permissions changes.

You need
- Permission to edit organization settings
- Access to the target organization
Steps
- Go to the organization you want to update
- Go to
Organization Settings - Update name or editable details
- Save
Result
- The organization shows the updated details
- Existing projects and members remain linked to the same organization
Common issues
- You cannot save changes: confirm you still have edit permission
- Updated fields do not save: check required fields and try again
