Add a Personal Access Token
Create a Personal Access Token for user-level automations.
Goal
Generate a token that can do actions your user account can perform.
Steps
- Open your user profile menu
- Select
Personal Access Tokens - Click
ADD PERSONAL ACCESS TOKEN - Follow the prompts and confirm
Result
- A new token is created for your account
- You can use it according to your user permissions
Common issues
- You cannot see the token menu: confirm you are logged in and authorized
- Token is not created: confirm required fields and retry
For security reasons, tokens are only shown once. Copy and store it securely.
