Devopness aims to be the world's one-stop-shop platform for all things DevOps, SRE and platform engineering. We are innovating on the way users interact with CI/CD, DevOps, SRE, IaC, GitOps and Linux System Administration, making those activities accessible to everyone involved in software projects.

How to be hired to Devopness team?
1) Be seen on Devopness public channels
At Devopness we use Devopness on a daily basis to manage our applications and our cloud infrastructure. As we use our own product, it makes sense to hire people that are using Devopness and believe in our mission of empowering users and make DevOps painless and accessible for everyone involved in software projects.
Let us see your activity opening issues, commenting on existing issues or sending pull requests with contribution to our open source projects on our public repository and you will very likely hear from us.
2) Contribute to open source projects
At Devopness we are inspired by open source projects and we see contributions to open source repositories as a key differential for candidates.
If you never contributed to an open source project, you can start by giving contributions to Devopness public repository by setting up your local development environment for one of the projects in the repo, by following the contributing guidelines provided in the projects source code. You can then start by refactoring existing code to correct typos and fix small bugs. That will help you on understanding how all the pieces of a large application such as Devopness fit together, how it was architected, and where the code for each functionality lives.
Why contribute to open source?
By getting involved with open source projects a contributor also learn about project and people management, receiving and providing feedback, dealing with conflicts, prioritize work, teams organization and much more.
